Built because the results weren't enough.
ClearUp Health started with a simple frustration: getting blood test results back and not knowing what to do with them.
Why we built this
Most people get blood tests because something feels off — fatigue they can't explain, recurring headaches, poor sleep, brain fog. They pay for a test, wait a week, and receive a PDF full of numbers with a brief note from the lab saying their results are “within range.”
Except often they're not quite within range. Or they're borderline. Or the number is technically normal but low-normal for a woman of 25 who runs three times a week. The gap between “technically fine” and “actually optimal” is where most people live — and where they get no help.
We built ClearUp Health to fill that gap. Not as a replacement for your GP, but as the layer of interpretation and guidance that comes after the results — and that rarely exists today.
Our team combines backgrounds in nutrition science, data engineering, and product design. We work with registered nutritionists and dietitians to ensure every recommendation we make is accurate, proportionate, and safe.
“Our mission is to give everyone — regardless of their medical literacy or access to private healthcare — the understanding and tools to act on their own health.”
ClearUp Health, founding statement
What we stand for
Four principles that shape every decision we make about the product, the science, and the business.
Clarity over complexity
Medicine communicates in jargon because precision matters in clinical settings. But that same precision becomes a barrier when you're sitting at home wondering what your results actually mean. We strip away the noise and translate it into something actionable.
Evidence first, always
Every recommendation we make — every food we suggest, every supplement we mention — is grounded in peer-reviewed nutritional science and established clinical guidelines. We do not follow trends or partnerships. We follow evidence.
Food before pills
We believe most nutritional deficiencies can be addressed through food before supplements. Our plans are built around what you eat, not what you buy. Supplements appear in plans only when the evidence supports them for a specific deficiency.
Privacy as a foundation
Your health data is deeply personal. We encrypt everything, never sell your data, and give you full control over deletion at any time. We would rather lose a user than compromise on this.
A note on medical advice
ClearUp Health is an educational and nutritional guidance tool. It is not a medical service, does not provide diagnoses, and is not a substitute for the advice of a qualified healthcare professional. If your results suggest a clinical concern, we will always prompt you to speak to your GP. We are transparent about what we are — and what we are not.
